Why this verdict
Ordinary Egyptian passport holders remain in Türkiye's visa-required bucket for the normal tourist case. Türkiye's e-Visa route exists only for narrower age- and document-dependent cohorts, so it should not be read as a universal digital alternative for all Egyptian travellers.
Conditional rules
- Ordinary Egyptian passport holder under age 15 or over age 45, or age 15 to 45 with a valid Schengen, US, UK or Ireland visa or residence permit and travelling with Turkish Airlines, AJet, Pegasus, EgyptAir or Air Cairo eVisa
Up to 30 days. Eligible travellers can use Türkiye's 30-day single-entry e-Visa path instead of a sticker visa. This remains a narrower exception route: the age/airline rules and any qualifying third-country visa or residence permit conditions must still be met, alongside the passport-validity rules shown in the official application flow.
