Why this verdict
Ukrainian citizens enter Georgia visa-free and may stay up to 1 year. NOTE: the visa-free period was reduced from 3 years to 1 year by decree on 3 April 2025. A separate government decree (Feb 2026) extended the right to stay until 24 February 2027 for Ukrainians who had entered and were staying in Georgia before 24 February 2025.
