Visa-free entry is free. All visitors receive a Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) visitor permit; the FMM fee (MXN 983 / ~USD 54 as of January 2026) is typically INCLUDED in the airfare for those flying in, so most air travellers pay nothing extra at the border. The FMM is NOT a visa — it is a permit issued to every visitor.

Why this verdict

Ukrainian citizens may enter Mexico visa-free for tourism or business for up to 180 days, per the Instituto Nacional de Migración (INM). All visitors — including visa-free nationals — must obtain a Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) visitor permit (online via INM, or at the port of entry); the FMM is valid for up to 180 calendar days and a single entry. The actual number of days granted is set by the immigration officer (commonly 180). The 180-day maximum is generally non-extendable. The FMM is NOT a visa. For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Ukraine also has access to an electronic authorisation (SAE) alternative, but ordinary visa-free entry with FMM remains the standard route.
