Why this verdict
Ukrainian citizens may enter South Korea visa-free for tourism or business for up to 60 days. South Korea normally requires a K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorisation, KRW 10,000 / ~USD 8) for visa-free nationals, but this is temporarily EXEMPT for Ukraine (and other eligible countries) through 31 December 2026 under the Visit Korea Year initiative, per the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The K-ETA is expected to become mandatory again from 1 January 2027, so travellers from that date should apply in advance. The length of stay is set by the immigration officer on arrival. Visa-free travel does NOT permit employment. Confirm current rules with the official source before travel.
